Our Nannies, or as we usually refer to them our "Childcare Providers" are educated and experineced local Canadians that have chosen Childcare as a career choice.
Before they begin a nanny position we make sure they have a Valid CPR and First Aid certificate and have had a criminal background check done.
In addition to their experience and education, all applicants have passed our thorough screening process. During our interviews we thoroughly screen for appropriate knowledge regarding child safety, emergency procedures, nutrition, age appropriate activities and general knowledge regarding quality childcare. We require a minimum of 2 recent Child related references and share their contact information and comments with you.
Many of our Nannies travel with families for up to 1 month at a time, or stay over night with children while parents are away. Most are competent drivers or confident in taking transit with children.
We feel it is important that the Nannies we place have worked with children in both group settings such as a daycares, community centres or schools, as well as private homes.
Group settings provide a wide spectrum of knowledge and experience in things like age appropriate activities, creative problem solving, enhanced communication skills, stages of development and the ability to multi-task.
The Nannies we place have a variety of childcare experiences to share with your family; Many of our Childcare Providers are ECE Certified, meaning they are certified Pre-school teachers, some are also certified primary school teachers that love working with children and are excited by the opportunity to work with them in a private home setting where they can really focus on the child or children under their care and watch them grow. It is our job to seek out nanny for you that will truly be a wonderful asset to your family.
Hourly Fees
15.00 to 22.00 per hour
Dependent on your family's needs and the caregivers qualifications.
