1. We get to know you and your family by way of an in-person meeting at your home.
2. From the information you give us, we begin our search. We may have the perfect candidate on file or we may need to screen further candidates for you. We can often send you candidates right away or it may take up to 2 - 4 weeks depending on your requirements and the time of year.
3. At your convenience we will send you the resumes of select Vancouver nannies as candidates for you to consider. We will only send the most relevant applicants that match your needs in every way and can offer the commitment your family is looking for. This means we usually start by sending the top 2 to 3 candidates we feel are best matched to you. We can send more, but 95% of our families find a match in one of the first 3 candidates. It is our goal to save you precious time and effort by getting it right.
4. We will arrange interviews at your place of choice with the Vancouver nannies you select as candidates. We suggest conducting interviews at your home. We usually start by sending the top 2 to 3 candidates we feel are best matched to you. We can send more, but 95% of our families find a match in one of the first 3 candidates. It is our goal to save you precious time and effort by getting it right.
5. Once you have chosen a suitable Candidate we will run a criminal background check on them. We suggest having the candidate back for a paid trial period of a few hours or up to a few days depending on the situation, to make sure everyone is really happy working together.
6. Once the decision has been made to make an official offer of employment to the Candidate we assist the family and the Candidate in clearly communicating each other’s expectations and aid in writing up an appropriate Offer of Employment / agreement to.
7. If you are at all unhappy with the Childcare Provider you select, we will replace them once with a person of your preference, with in the offered guarantee time period.
An important part of our Vancouver nanny agency is remaining accessible to you and your Childcare Provider for the entire duration of employment - to assist with anything you might need.
